Jiffy Pop Stove Top Handle Gift Holder
Many may not remember a time when the microwave didn’t cook your popcorn and that’s the appeal of this gift. Jiffy Pop is still around and still has a metal handle to “shake” it over the stove. Movie/popcorn related gifts are one of our favorites (see Pop Bucket!) mostly because it is a gift that will please most everyone. You don’t have to worry about giving them a gift they will never use. Plus, my favorite part, you can make this gift for under $10!
What you will need:
Jiffy Pop Stove Top Pan
Two or One Movie Size Boxes of Candy
A Gift Card to Your Local Movie Rental Business (or theater or dvd)
Thick Curling Ribbon
Tape (I used Clear Scotch Tape)
The handle that sticks out from the Jiffy Pop will either be in the front or the back of the candy boxes (in the photo, it was in the back). When you are buying the popcorn, try to look for ones that have the handle to the back (it makes for an easier “holder” and you won’t have to use as much tape). It’s cool, no big deal if it has to be in front of the candy boxes.

Take the two candy boxes (or one) and tape them to the handle. Tape your gift card (or dvd) to the front. Try to position it to cover anything you don’t think looks pretty. Tie off with curling ribbon. Inexpensive, easy, cute, and a gift that is useable!
